I have a basic recipe you can use, but then I include 5 different flavor variations to make it your own. Plus, there are free printable labels you can attach to the jars. Aren't they cute?

Homemade hot cocoa mix may seem like just a little thing, but it's one of the first edible gifts I ever made and one people always enjoy. Plus, you don't have to keep it simple. I love adding dark chocolate shavings, which add extra richness and depth of flavor. Pair that with some espresso powder or candy cane pieces and you have a decadent, totally shelf-stable treat.
