πŸ¦ƒπŸ‚ My Favorite Thanksgiving Recipes

Hi, Reader,

Happy Sunday! How is it possibly Thanksgiving this week?

Honestly, I'm barely making it to the holiday this year.

We've had multiple family members with medical issues this month, and unfortunately, my husband's grandma passed away just a few days ago.

She basically became an adoptive grandma to me over the years after I lost both of my own, and we shared similar passions for spending time with family, cooking from scratch, and collecting vintage glassware.

Although it feels hard to think about celebrating right now, I also know it will be healing and meaningful to be together for the holiday - in her home, eating her favorite recipes, and using the good china.

It's also exactly what she wanted us to do.

For me, it's also a reminder of just why I spend so much time developing recipes and passing on "the old ways." It might seem like they're just recipes, but food connects us, and a good recipe eventually becomes part of who we are.

I really cannot imagine a better legacy than sharing recipes that may one day turn into family heirlooms.

(If it takes me longer to reply to emails or comments, I appreciate your understanding.)

Below, I wanted to share some recipe inspiration for you to prepare for Thanksgiving! I've got some savory sides below and then keep scrolling for my personal favorite options for a holiday dessert.

I hope you have a warm, loving holiday. If you're grieving or missing someone too, I hope you feel them this week. Do or make something they loved in their honor. Sending lots of love and peace your way. 🀍
